A Company 3D Platform, which is specialized on the manufacturing of large scale 3D printers, presented a new printer. They called it the 3DP Workbench. It is a large-format system with a wide build area of 1m x 1m x 0.5m. Workbench provides high-quality resolution to a 70-micron layer.
“The 3DP Workbench is more than just another 3D printer, it has been designed through a professional user-experience process-with input from engineers, product developers and top creative talent around the world-incorporating tools they need to take our 3D platform to the next level,” said John Good, Vice President of Sales & Marketing with 3DP. “The result is a comprehensive toolkit that increases capacity, enables them to expand their capabilities and bring their ideas to life.”
The advanced print techniques, such as core modelling and adding inserts of metal, electronics, and other materials, are available at this printer because it has ergonomic height and open print bed.
The 3DP Workbench is made to be mobile because it has folding gantry and can be moved in and out from the usual working place. There are also 12 storage drawers to store AM tools and materials that save and arrange working space well.
The 3DP Workbench launch is going to be at 28th annual Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) Education & Training Conference, April 3 – 7, 2016. We are looking forward to the conference and long to see the demo version of the 3DP Workbench in action.
